In December 1928 a young housewife and mother opened a smallhomemade
cake shop in Leamington Spa. Mona Chesterfield baked cakes in her
domestic gas cooker within her shop. She called her little business
'Elisabeth the Chef'. but soon it was not so little!
Our facilities have achieved the Higher Level Approval Certificate
of Inspection for the European Food Safety Inspectorate Service (EFSIS).
Major investment in plant technology and equipment has expanded our
Worcester factory from 65,000 sq.ft. to 90,000 sq.ft.
After nearly a century of tradition as a high quality baker and manufacturer
of desserts, we are expanding through the multiple sector by achieving
excellence in product quality and innovation, efficiency in customer
service and attention to detail in everything we do.
